Final Events

Towards the end of the project, multiplier events took place in each country to present the ManUp4Her project and its results to stakeholders and the target groups.

EJBM

EJBM hosted a national ManUp4Her session with 54 participants, including youth workers, volunteers, and students from diverse international backgrounds. After introducing the project and its focus on involving men in preventing GBV, participants were guided through the eBook, podcast series, and expert interviews, including a featured video with Frank Schneiert from Männergewaltschutz. The six educational videos created by JKPeV were presented, with a particular focus on “Recognising gender-based violence (GBV) at Home”, highlighting how GBV is a pervasive issue that affects various environments. The session concluded with the introduction of the Ambassador Handbook, a practical tool designed to support men in becoming allies against GBV.

JKPeV

The national event in Dresden engaged more than 30 participants from NGOs, educators, creatives, and community groups. The session introduced the project, explored its resources, and emphasised the importance of men’s participation in the fight against GBV. JKPeV demonstrated how everyone can contribute to preventing and recognising GBV, highlighting men as key allies in this effort. Participants were guided through the eBook, podcasts, videos, and vlogs, and the session concluded by inviting them to explore the Ambassador Handbook—a practical tool for those who wish to take action and become active agents of change.

KAINOTOMIA

KAINOTOMIA hosted a national event in Larissa focused on raising awareness about gender-based violence. Two experienced psychologists led discussions on the causes, impacts, and social dimensions of GBV. Participants engaged in an interactive presentation and quiz designed to challenge myths and encourage reflection. The audience showed strong interest, actively participating and discussing personal perspectives. Feedback was exceptionally positive, with attendees expressing willingness to act as ambassadors for GBV prevention.

UniTo

UNITO held its national ManUp4Her event on 31 October 2025 at the Department of Psychology in Turin, bringing together 32 participants from academia, professional practice, and local community groups.

After a brief introduction to the project and its focus on men’s engagement in preventing gender-based violence, attendees explored the eBook, podcasts, and videos, discussing how these tools can support awareness and education in Italy.

A short interactive activity encouraged participants to design context-specific prevention ideas, generating thoughtful exchanges and practical proposals.

The event ended with informal networking, with many expressing interest in staying involved as project ambassadors.

LetHerIn

Let Her In hosted its national ManUp4Her event on 24 October 2025 at Espai Boule in Spain, bringing together participants from previous workshops, local organisations, educators, and community members committed to gender equality.

The session introduced the project’s achievements and revisited its key resources, highlighting the importance of engaging men as allies in preventing gender-based violence.
