EJBM

EJBM delivered two ManUp4Her workshops designed to introduce community members and professionals to the project’s educational tools on gender-based violence prevention. Participants learned about the eBook, podcasts, videos, and Ambassador’s Handbook while discussing how these materials can be used in their daily work and community outreach.

The sessions sparked meaningful dialogue, encouraged diverse perspectives, and highlighted the importance of shared responsibility in building safer communities.

 JKPeV

The ManUp4Her workshops engaged men from local communities and stakeholders from the education, youth work, and gender equality sectors to foster dialogue on preventing gender-based violence. Participants explored project resources, including the e-book, videos, podcasts, expert interviews, and the Ambassador’s Handbook. Interactive discussions and group exercises encouraged reflection on real-life scenarios and strategies to promote safer environments. The workshops provided an opportunity to consider the importance of collaboration, tailored educational approaches, and practical tools to advance gender equality initiatives. Overall, the sessions promoted awareness, active engagement, and actionable approaches to addressing GBV across various social contexts.

KAINOTOMIA

KAINOTOMIA delivered three targeted workshops engaging men, students, educators, and local stakeholders in open dialogue on gender-based violence by collaborating with local organizations. The sessions combined interactive activities, project materials, and guided discussions to deepen understanding and challenge misconceptions. Participants explored the ManUp4Her tools, with a strong interest in the ambassadorial role and male allyship. The workshops strengthened collaboration across workplaces, education, and the community, creating safe spaces for reflection and shared learning.

UniTo

The two UniTo workshops created an open and reflective environment where men, educators, practitioners, and community stakeholders engaged with the themes of masculinity, allyship, and the prevention of gender-based violence. The men’s workshop focused on how masculine identities are shaped, how everyday forms of violence often go unnoticed, and how active bystander strategies can turn awareness into meaningful action, with participants expressing strong emotional engagement and interest in continued involvement. The stakeholder workshop brought together academics and professionals to explore how the ManUp4Her tools can be adapted to local contexts, encouraging dialogue between theory and practice and highlighting the importance of cross-sector collaboration. Together, the workshops strengthened community ties, promoted shared learning, and generated practical pathways for advancing gender equality initiatives across educational and social settings.

LetHerIn

The Let Her In workshops created warm, honest spaces where participants could closely examine forms of gender-based violence that often remain hidden. In the first session, men reflected on cultural habits, stereotypes, and everyday silences that shape harmful dynamics, leaving with a clearer understanding of how they can foster empathy and non-violence in their own lives. The second workshop brought together professionals from different sectors, who compared experiences, recognised structural obstacles, and explored how their institutions could collaborate more effectively. Both sessions encouraged genuine dialogue and strengthened a shared commitment to addressing gender-based violence with clarity, collaboration, and care.
